Phone systems

Six platforms. One honest recommendation.

We recommend based on what suits your team, not whichever platform pays us the most — so whether you're after small business telecoms for a two-desk office or a system for 500 users, we're not tied to a single network.

A VoIP system is only as good as the line — and the team — behind it

A phone system provider that only sells you the handset isn't solving the whole problem. We provision and support the connection, and keep your people reachable when they're away from a desk, too.

FAQs

Common questions before switching provider

Where are you based?
We're based in Bournemouth — that's where our head office is. Our staff and engineers work across the UK, on customer sites and remotely, so wherever you're based you get the same level of support. As voice technology is largely web-based now, we can access, manage and support your system from anywhere.
What's the difference between a telecoms provider and a VoIP provider?
A telecoms provider is a broader term covering any company supplying business communications — phone lines, broadband, mobile connectivity. A VoIP provider specifically supplies cloud-based phone systems that run over the internet rather than a traditional line. T2K operates as both, so you're not managing separate suppliers for your number, your connection and your handset.
Do you specialise in a specific industry?
We've been in business for over 35 years and have experience working with many types of technology and organisations, across a wide range of industries in the UK. We work with everyone from estate agents and other local businesses to call centres and larger multi-site companies.
Do you only work with companies in the UK?
Primarily, we work with UK-based companies, although many of our customers have remote offices and require our communications solutions to work internationally. If you are completely international, please get in touch and we'll help you review the best providers and deal for your company.
Is everything now cloud-based?
Most UK providers now operate in the cloud, but some technologies such as 3CX can be installed in your office. When you first contact us, we'll offer free consultancy to help you find the best telecommunication service for your business. A fully cloud-hosted VoIP system with reliable broadband is usually the best option for most small businesses; for companies with 20 or more employees, a system like 3CX can be a better fit from a cost and flexibility perspective.
Do you provide fixed-line services?
Yes, we provide fixed-line services such as ISDN and PSTN connections, but with BT switching these off in 2027, our customers in the UK are switching to VoIP when they're ready. We also offer company broadband services, alongside the installation of local networks.
Can I keep my existing number if I switch phone number providers?
Yes. Number porting is standard practice when switching UK telecoms providers, and we handle the process directly with your outgoing supplier — there's no need for your customers to notice any change at all.
Are you solely a business communications provider?
We focus primarily on UK-based companies, and that's where the vast majority of our work sits. We do occasionally work with residential customers too — for example installing connections into home offices — so get in touch if you're unsure whether we can help.
Do you cover the whole of the UK, or just London?
We work with businesses across the whole of the UK — many of our customers are based in London, but we're just as active in Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow and everywhere in between. Wherever you're based, you get the same level of support.
Do you offer mobile phone services?
Yes — we now provide business mobile contracts and SIMs that tie into the same system as your desk phones, so calls and numbers follow your team wherever they're working.
Do you provide hosted VoIP and phone systems in Bournemouth, Poole and Dorset?
Yes. Alongside working with businesses nationwide, our head office is in Bournemouth, so we install and support hosted VoIP and business phone systems for companies throughout Bournemouth, Poole and the wider Dorset area directly, as well as remotely everywhere else in the UK.
